Into the third year of analysis, the AO Top 100 list took time to compile as the industry was slow to respond… was it because many companies did not do too well in FY 2009-10 or is it that the industry is still not open to sharing. This is a question that needs to be deeply looked into, as transparency is one of the biggest foundations for growth. Talking to many exporters, it was heartening to know that most of them valued the importance of our efforts to document performances.
