Projections for 2009-10 at Rs. 20,744.52 cr. 86% Companies Expect Growth in FY 2009-10

Apparel Online has just released its second edition of AO TOP 100, which has some interesting inferences for the industry. In this edition some new information has been added for deeper analysis like the year of establishment, compliance certifications and the man-woman ratio in factories across the country. In the analysis, the top performers are generally companies established in late 80s or early 90s. Only 9 companies with establishment in the new millennium have found place in the listing. Further, there are 16 new names on the listing… So this year’s analysis is not a replica of the same companies’ featured last year. The top slot which was held by Gokaldas Exports last year has been taken over by House…
